For more detailed descriptions of those projects follow the links. This project is a continuum for those projects using the materials provided by them.
The meaning of this project is to get the students to talk about bullying at school and the possible outcomes and solutions of bullying by making a movie about it.
Before the shooting starts the students will discuss about bullying on the base of the cartoons made earlier. The cartoons are used as story boards for these movies. After this the students divide the roles (actors, cameramen, audio, editors, storyteller etc.). Then the students get school’s PC-tablets or Surface RT –tablets to shoot the movie. The students may use their own devices if they wish (BYOD). The projects are uploaded to SkyDrive so that they can worked upon also on students’ free-time.
The next stage is to cut and edit the movies by using MovieMaker. Students will then use Audacity program to add soundtrack and soundeffects to the movie.
The finished movies will then be uploaded to SkyDrive so that everyone can watch and reflect them. After the project is fully finished all movies will be shown to students in order to create discussion about bullying.
Every group reflects their own work during the project using WeLearn program.
English, music, arts and IT are integrated into this project.
