The Norwegian Centre for ICT in Educationin tarkoituksena on edistää ja toteuttaa TVT:n opetuskäyttöä Norjassa. Keskus osallistuu myös kansainväliseen yhteistyöhön. Tärkein tavoitteista on parantaa koulutuksen laatua ja parantaa oppimistuloksia.

1. Ask a colleague to videotape an interview of yourself, or record one yourself. Answer the following interview questions in English:

• about 30 seconds: Who am I? Which subjects do I teach? Which age are the students I am working with? How long have I been working as a teacher?

• about 30 seconds: Which way do I like to teach the most? (you can describe, for instance, your teaching method and the space/environment where it takes place)

• about 30 seconds: What kind of educational technology do I use in my teaching?

A new CPDLab course “Future Classroom – adapting pedagogical practice” has been published in the Comenius in-service training database.  The course is aimed for secondary school teachers and will provide a very practical workshop-based experience to help teachers adapt their current pedagogical practice, and learn new tools and skills.
During the course the participants will:
    •    discuss the future classroom, sharing videos of their current practice
    •    develop their own future learning scenarios
    •    practice with the 'Future Scenarios Toolkit' developed by the iTEC project
    •    consider the role of digital literacy skills, both their own and their students, and the importance of critical thinking
    •    rethink communication and collaboration within and beyond the classroom, incorporating the wide range technologies found in the classroom today

The course evaluation was very positive, for example, all teachers either agreed or strongly agreed when asking if they would recommend the course to their colleagues.
