Tavoitteet
Goals are as follows:
You will learn to prepare and take full use of a Tutorial Video.
You will understand what are the main features of a helpful tutorial video.
You will develop your skills in peer-teaching and using technology in your learning.
You will be able to use and develop tutorials as part of your study in different learning environments like Flipped Classroom etc.

General discription of the ways we will learn:
All participants will be active and cooperative in learning process
Learners will gain better understanding of the tutorial technology widely used already
We will prepare skills needed in future learning which is not bound to a place nor a time

What should we teach about it?
4-6 points, pictures and text in Strip Design
Making of Tutorial: Use Strip Design sketch to structure your video (iMovie)
Combine demo, words, letters, pictures, graphics etc to make a tutorial
Group project: students and their parents and other class from EU country
Individual vistas: Skratch and Kerpoof
8 hours approximately

The work in the project can be described in five parts:
First part:
Tutorials: examples from life
Tutorials: use, why they are helpful?
Tutorials: What makes a helpful tutorial?
Second part:
Select a game
What should we teach about it?
4-6 points, pictures and text in Strip Design
Third part:
Making of Tutorial: Use Strip Design sketch to structure your video (iMovie)
Combine demo, words, letters, pictures, graphics etc to make a tutorial
Write a script
Fourth part:
Group project: shooting the video, watching and developing, using peer review to make it better,
Presenting the tutorial in common meeting with the students and their parents
Fifth part:
Individual vistas: Skratch and Kerpoof
Total:
8 hours approximately

Game tutorials:
Solmu (a traditional game)
Laite (how to add pictures)
Pokemon (how to play pokemon game)
Minecraft (how to build a house?)
Arviointi
Two of the groups did excellent and innovative work. The process and the product was amazing.
One of the groups was able to prepare a project, but the final product would need more work in terms of balance between background music and voice.
The fourth group finished their tutorial, but the lack of work in the script and Strip Design phase made it too long and unfocused..
